I Want My Mummy Cupcakes
1 box cake mix (flavor is your choice!)
Green frosting
White Frosting
Red candies or candy eyes
Prepare your cupcakes according to package instructions. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely. Frost the tops with green frosting and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Remove from the refrigerator. Using a Ziplock bag or pastry bag with a Wilton #47 or #48 tip, use white frosting to draw lines across the top of the green cupcakes. Leave room for a little bit of green showing. Add eyes. Chill till you are ready to serve!
Bobcat’s Kitty Litter Cake
2 boxes German chocolate cake mix
1 package Oreo vanilla sandwich cookies
1 cup prepared vanilla pudding (Jello or Snack Pan brand)
A few drops blue food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls or equivalent
1 NEW cat-litter box
1 NEW pooper scooper
I buy my litter box cake utensils at the Dollar Store and run them through the dishwasher before using!
Prepare the cake mixes according to package instructions in a large baking sheet pan. Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool. Pulse the all of the cookies in a food processor or blender till they are a fine dust. Add blue food coloring as your pulse till the cookies turn a bluefish green color.
To prepare the cake: Crumble the cake into the bottom of the NEW AND CLEAN litter box. Stir in the prepared pudding into the crumbled cake until combined. It will be lumpy…Sprinkle the cookie dust over the top. To make the “poops” microwave the unwrapped Tootsie Rolls for 5-10 seconds. Carefully form into poo’s. Be imaginative. Kids love this! Serve with a NEW AND CLEAN kitty scooper.
Boo Berries
1 pint strawberries, washed and dried
1 package Wilton candy melts, white
2-4 tablespoon vegetable or coconut oil
1 package Wilton candy melts, black
Melt the black and white candy melts in separate containers. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Once the white candy melts are melted, add oil to thin slightly. Dip each of the strawberries in the white chocolate and set on the parchment paper. Continue till all of the berries are dipped. Place them in the refrigerator so the chocolate can set up. Melt the black candy melts in the microwave and stir till smooth. Add oil to thin. Pour half of the black melted chocolate into a ziplock bag and then snip the ends. Add eyes and a scary mouth to the berries and return to the fridge to they can set up. Serve to you favorite monsters!
Sea Salt Carmel Apple Fondue

2-3 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Granny Smith apples
Wooden skewers
Assorted sprinkles, crushed cookies, candies
Melt the caramels in a small stock pot. Add the water and stir to combine. Pour the melted caramel into a small bowl.
To prepare the apples: Cut the apples into slices and add skewers and put on a plate. Drizzle with lemon juice to keep the apples from turning brown.
