I am so proud to say that I represent a wonderful company and today they truly made me proud. Adam Butler, Brand Manager of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, announced today that Kraft will be using the launch of a new Philly product to coincide with donations to local food banks. I think this is genius.
When I joined the Real Women of Philadelphia I was quickly struck by the strong sense of community. It pretty quickly evolved into a community and less of a contest. The good words of the followers and the openness to help was shocking. You would think a group of women, and now men, would be less apt to help when there is a money prize involved. Well not here! I am proud to call my self a host of this site and an ambassador to Kraft foods. They have been 100% behind this good feeling and I applaud them in their openness to trying new ideas. I love that they have a social conscience as well as a business mind. Together we can do many great things…So with Touch of Philly cheese blends, a great recipe and some amazing pictures and videos we will do great amazing things!
I encourage everyone to get involved. Who would have thought Philadelphia cream cheese and this site could pay it forward to others in our community and then feed strangers all over the country? Sounds like a win-win to me and I am in! So go to www.realwomenofphiladelphia.com and get connected! Try out the new Touch of Philly cheese blends, (btw…the cheddar blend makes some rockin nachos!), share your dish with someone in your community and take a picture and or video. Submit those and we will start donating!
