If you like that certain Red crustacean restaurant then there is no doubt you are a fan of the scampi and oh my those biscuits. Well did you know you can make this dinner in 30 minutes or less…plus much cheaper than eating out!!
Shrimp Scampi Pasta
1 lb. pre-cooked shrimp, deveined and peeled
1 stick unsalted butter
3 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
1/2 cup white wine
handful chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 lb fettucini, cooked
In a large sauté pan place butter, garlic, white wine and Italian seasoning. Sauté for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Be careful not to allow butter to brown. Add in shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Pour shrimp and butter sauce over the pasta.
Garlic Cheese Biscuits
2 packages of Shawnee Mills Biscuit Mix
1 stick cold unsalted butter
3/4 cup cold milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Butter Brushing Sauce:
2 tablespoon butter, melted
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
To make butter sauce just mix together.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the butter and biscuit mix, using either a pastry blender or your hands till small beads are formed. Add in milk, garlic a cheddar and stir to combine. Using an ice cream scoop, place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with butter sauce. Serve warm!
