Who does not enjoy pizza?? They are few and far between! I was raised on that yummy greasy gooey pepperoni pizza and loved every bite. However, on my last trip to LA we went to one of our favorite spots called Little Dom’s. They are known for their fresh approach to Italian. In fact we originally went there to try their breakfast pizza that was featured on Food Network. After having this cracker crusted pizza with an egg on top I was sold! It was not greasy but still gooey. We went to other places and had many other delicious fresh approaches to beloved foods. So, being creative I got thinking…how about we do this at home. So here is what I came up with!
First thing I did was break out the pizza stone. I have both a rectangular and a round but my rectangular one is my favorite. It works great for the long Tuscan style pizzas. Once those are heating up I then unloaded my fridge! The family and I got to experimenting! To my surprise my hubby used the lavash bread I picked up and it made the perfect cracker crust without all of the rise time a normal crust takes! So go pick up some! My favorite cutter is the Zyliss Red Pizza Cutter. I use it for my pizzas and even to cut pastry dough! Such a friend!
