Instead of the family going to Louie’s having some pizza and spinach with artichoke dip I have decided to prepare a Super Bowl Spread for the ages. Though I never seem to enjoy sports meals as much as when I am sitting at Louie’s watching sports, I love their 1/2 frozen Arnold Palmers. (1/2 ice tea and 1/2 lemonade)
So, it is here and my house is excited about all of the delicious things I have planned to feed my son and all of his friends for Super Bowl this year. When chatting with my hubby, he gave me some insight on what guys need to succeed at a Super Bowl Spread:
1. No Utensils- In my study I found that guys DO NOT WANT to mess with finding the appropriate utensil to use with their meal. Pretty much they want this meal to be “idiot proof.” No pretty plates. No pretty napkins. Just food they can eat and go sit down with and watch the game!
2. No Rules- Again I was told that your guys do not want to be worried about manners. Yes, that’s right. They want to be barbarians and just eat and watch. Anything more than that will simply frustrate your super fan! So, check out my answer to double dipping!
