Well last weekend I had the pleasure to cook for 100’s at the OKC Home Show. It was so much fun. Best part was that I got to meet so many great people! After each demo I was asked lots of questions ranging from how to cook pork on the grill, to my Ranch recipe or even where to get my whipped cream machine. I love helping people and especially when it has to do with food. I thought I would post my Ranch dressing recipe for everyone to enjoy this summer!
This Ain’t No Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing (My Mom’s recipe)
8 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1½ teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup mayonnaise
To make seasoning mix combine the above dried ingredients in a small bowl. Store in an air tight container.
To make 2 cups of dressing:
In a bowl combine 1 tablespoon of dried mix with mayonnaise and buttermilk. Stir till well combined. Place in a mason jar and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
Here are the platters I used! They are made from 100% recycled products! I also used the nesting bowls and they are perfect for bbq’s, baking or entertaining! I fell in love with these the minute I found them at International Pantry. Go check out the other pieces to this set!
Sunday says
Ohhh, I love those bowls. I think they need to come live at my house.
