Mint Chocolate Cookies in a Jar
1 box Dark Chocolate Cake Mix
1 bag Andes Mint Baking Chips
1 quart size Wide Mouth Mason Jar
In your large mason jar, first pour the cake mix and then the mint baking chips on top. Place the lid on and now it is time to decorate the outside.
Attach a label with the following baking instructions.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour the entire contents of jar in a large bowl. Add in the eggs and oil. Stir well till a ball is formed. Using a cookie scoop place balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Cool and enjoy with milk!
Blitzen Bars
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup Ghirardelli mini chocolate chips
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup holiday m&m’s
1 quart size mason jar
Place the ingredients in a jar in the order they are listed. Seal the jar and make a recipe card to attach to the jar!
To make the Toffee Blondies: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Empty the contents of the jar plus 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter, 2 beaten eggs, and1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour the batter in an 8x8x2 pan coated with non stick cooking spray. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the Blitzen Bars are cooked through. Allow the bars to cool and then cut into bars.
